The EVSE is rigid. It has a simple design – just plug and go. It is also fully waterproof (IP55) and well sealed.
There are no signs of any overheating nor unstable work within 1 hour of charging (3,3 kWh charged). Thermal imaging shows no hot spots inside.
As a norm at the data plate, we can see IEC 62196-2 (a group of standards that define requirements and tests for plugs, socket-outlets, vehicle connectors) instead of IEC 61851 (standard for electric vehicle charging systems).
As IEC62196-2 describes Type2 plug but has no connection to EVSE construction and behaviour – this means, that Duosida has no proper IEC standard declared. It is an unstandardized product, so you use it or sell it at your own risk.
